After the rain, Chiro and Chico are playing in a mud puddle. They accidentally splash mud on Chiyo. Angry Chiyo tells mom what Chiro and Chico did, and mom scolds them. Chiro and Chico go in the room where Chiyo was reading her book and disturb her. Chiyo tells dad, and dad scolds Chiro and Chico and sends them outside. Chiyo enjoys being alone in the room but soon she gets bored and looks out the window. She sees Chiro, Chico and Charlie playing baseball outside.
